4/7/2018 - It has been a long journey to this day. Photography has always been a passion of mine. Growing up watching my dad take pictures, seeing the beautiful images after he developed the film. Yes, I still remember the film days. Going out and shooting a couple of rolls and then spending 24 bucks to get them developed only to see that a few of the images came out!!! A lot has changed since those days and while I drifted away from photography for a while I have found that passion once again. I have been actively honing my skill set for almost the past decade.  Getting more proficient with each journey out into the wilds. Through conversations with other photographers in the field and reading magazines and books, I am constantly striving to elevate my images. As I launch this website I am excited to bring to you my own unique view on our wonderful landscapes. I am hopeful that you will be inspired by the images and have an emotional connection to what is being viewed. 

I will be blogging weekly to talk about what has inspired me that week, where I have been to photograph, techniques that have worked or not worked (there have been a lot), or anything else that comes to my mind that can be shared to hopefully bring the joy of photography to you and elevate your ability to capture the images the way you want them to be captured. While I am not an expert, I am proficient and willing to share what I have learned.
